For many years, the partial-wear and sealing problem of
the polished rod has been paid great attention to. But
few patented technology has solved both of the
problems. On one hand, the sealing probem can be well
solved, but it is not convenient to replace the sealing
packings and it takes long time, thus affecting the
volume of production. On the other hand, the eccentric-
wear for the wellhead can be solved, but the new
problem arises-wear between the polished rod and
tubing (inner side) in the wellbore or the polished rod itself
abrases badly. Another situation, the two problems are
solved, but it is with complicate structure and high cost
as well as high requirements for the installation and
adjustments. It is a big problem existing commonly in
every oil field.
POLISHED ROD STUFFING BOX TECHNICAL FEATURES
The universal jonit structure of the stuffing box cooperates
with the centralizing&protecting bushing and have the
function of automatical adjustment. The polished rod
and the center of wellhead are in one line so that the
polished rod has little wear.
The centralizing and protecting bushing plays a role of
protecting the rod, also has the function of deviation
adjustment. Therefore, it is with better comprehensive
The advantage of the packing part is that the packing
can be added generally. No need to take out the old
packing, thus making full use of the packings and
reducing the time, but with better sealing.
No need to drain the pipeline, the new packings can be
added. Below the pressure of 3Mpa, the packings can
not be ejected or leaked, due to the use of 4-8 maya
